The challenge before Marty & Cherry is not in loving and caring for the animals at Black Sheep Crossing… For them the challenge lies in making absolutely sure that every need of every animal is provided for, with a few treats and special surprises sprinkled in for fun!
To date contributions have never exceeded expenses.
And that is why your involvement is so vitally important. When you become a contributor, you accept the same challenge as the other generous people who support BSC.
You make the difference!
As is the case on any farm, the caregivers and animals alike at BSC are early to rise, usually between 4 and 5 am, 365 days of the year, in rain, snow, wind and hail! Marty and Cherry do not label their daily routine as ‘chores’ because feeding and caring for the animals is an expression of love for them, not a job.
In addition to the daily schedule they keep, each day always brings something new – a fence to mend, an animal in need of medical attention, a trip to town for supplies, bills to pay, cards and pictures to send to sponsors, and fund raisers to plan.
When you make the decision to support Black Sheep Crossing, you have several options available:
Sponsorships are an affordable way to help cover the basic costs of general care and maintenance. All monies are used to purchase food and bedding, upkeep of housing, and for the costs of veterinarians and farriers.
A recurring donation can be made to support:
